If you’re looking for cryogenic storage, we have several Thermo CryoPlus 3 units in stock and available. Thermo Scientific CryoPlus series provides the perfect combination of liquid nitrogen storage reliability and microprocessor technology. It features a top-mounted control panel allows easy access to the CryoPlus’ microprocessor controller for programming. Two independent, flexible gaskets reduce the migration of moisture into the chamber and reduce icing. 24 tricolor LEDs continuously display actual liquid nitrogen level and high-level/low-level setpoints.
We also recently received a newer vintage MP Biomedicals FastPrep 24 5G bead beating grinder and lysis system. Intuitive software makes programming the FastPrep-24 5G fast and simple. The programmable touchscreen display allows for the use of pre-determined or custom homogenization speeds and duration times with a finger touch. Increased power features result in faster processing times and complete lysis of even the toughest samples.

We’re excited about this Kewaunee Supreme Air Venturi walk-in fume hood – it’s in great condition. Venturi fume hoods come with fixed slots in the rear baffles. The size of the slots are optimized to provide the best performance for general purpose use. The Venturi baffle technology works in both heavier-than-air and lighter-than-air applications. Therefore, there is not a need for baffle adjustment. Floor mounted hoods are used where taller apparatus is required or equipment is rolled into the hood. Features of the Venturi Floor Mounted Fume Hood include four 120 VAC, 20 amp GFCI protected duplex receptacles; two LED light fixtures with 15 intensity and 3 color settings; one mechanical sash stop; four service fittings and a 2” x 3” cord access port on each side, along with two gasketed access panels; two 12” exhaust collars; and an Air Alert 600 Airflow Monitor.
If you’re looking for a spectrophotometer, check out the Beckman DU730 UV/Vis. The DU 730 contains the following modes: Fixed wavelength, time-based kinetic, wavelength scanning, single component analysis, protein assay analysis, nucleic acid analysis, % dye incorporation, and DNA/protein tools. You can use the DU Series 700 for testing samples in the visible and ultraviolet wavelength spectrum. A halogen gas-filled tungsten lamp produces light in the visible spectrum (320 to 1100 nm), and a deuterium lamp produces light in the ultraviolet spectrum (190 to 360 nm).
We also some Fisher Isotemp flammable material storage freezers in stock. Built to preserve temperature sensitive reagents, samples and specimens, the Fisher Isotemp lab freezer model has a generous 20 cubic foot interior. A sparkproof interior separate contents from compressor and motor.
