Full testing and warranty
Our industry trained technicians thoroughly test and inspect each rotary evaporator and produce a written performance review of every cabinet prior to delivery. Our testing routine includes running and inspecting the motor unit that rotates the evaporation flask, assembling the glassware and running the system with a vacuum pump (sold separately), and testing the vacuum controller to make sure it is accurate and correctly interacts with the system. We also test the water baths to make sure they heat and control/read temperature accurately. If the system comes with a motorized lift we check the function of this component along with any digital vacuum controllers or displays. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all rotary evaporators and glassware thoroughly prior to shipment. We’re happy to provide decontamination documents and copies of test records prior to shipping. American Instrument Exchange also offers a 90-day warranty on all bio hoods and filters, so that you can be assured that the unit will meet the needs of your laboratory and will be ready to use upon delivery.
Full glassware assembly
New glassware plus the cost of installation can run to well over $1,000, depending on the make and model of rotavapor. We provide a full set of glassware with every unit we sell. If you’re purchasing a used rotary evaporator without glassware there’s no way to know for sure that it works properly. Providing glassware is the best way for us to guarantee that each system operates to spec.
Delivery and set up services
We can safely ship rotary evaporators anywhere in the US and for customers in Boston, Cambridge, and New England we can offer inside, white glove delivery. So not only will we bring the unit to your dock, we can also bring it inside your lab, configure and set up the glassware for you and make sure you are ready to go. (Rate vary depending on location.)
