Baker SG604
We’ve written about the Baker SG604 before, and that’s because we’re big fans of this model. Improvements in operating efficiency mean that this BSC can operate for up to 70% lower cost than comparable previous models, while the fold up front panel makes changing HEPA filters and other routine maintenance a snap. These features come with a price however – the Baker SG604 is one of the more expensive biosafety cabinets currently on the market. Thermo Scientific 1387
We’ve also written about the Thermo 1300 series units before. The Thermo 1387 is a 6’ wide, Class II Type A2 unit that also features some energy efficiency advancements, including independent supply and exhaust blowers that automate balancing of downflow and inflow/exhaust velocities. Nuaire NU-629-600
The Nuaire LabGard ES NU-629-600 is another 6’ wide unit and comes equipped with an electrically controlled hydraulic lift stand that adjusts the height of the worksurface at the push of a button. Labconco Purifier Logic Series
This is a 4’ wide, Class II Type A2 unit on a fixed-height stand with locking casters that provide both maneuverability and stability. A bright LCD “Information Center” display is mounted above the work surface on the right side wall and shows real-time information about filter life, operation mode, system errors and alerts, and other critical data about the BSC. All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test each bio safety cabinet to insure that the controls and blower motor work properly. Unless otherwise specified all bio safety cabinets come with new HEPA filters installed by our technicians at our facility prior to shipment. Our testing procedure includes all the elements of a bio safety cabinet certification in order to insure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.
