We’ve always been fans of the Beckman 22R microfuge, which was a mainstay for many of our customers in the past. The Beckman 20R is an update version of this classic with some nice improvements. With a maximum capacity of 72mL and an RCF of 20,627 x g, this refrigerated benchtop model is designed to meet application needs for pelleting, extractions, purifications, concentrations, phase separations and receptor binding; and rapid sedimentation of protein precipitates, particulates and cell debris.
The Microfuge 20 Series Microcentrifuges offers high g-force (20627 x g) for optimal pelleting. Its maintenance-free motor spins up to 15000 rpm. The Microfuge 20R maintains 4°C at maximum speed to protect precious samples perfect for DNA, RNA, proteins and virus cell isolation.
All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated, we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor, we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
