We always have a lot of biosafety cabinets in stock and available from our warehouse just north of Boston. In fact, as of this writing we have a total of over 120 biosafety cabinets in stock, representing 60 different models and a variety of manufacturers. The list below represents some the 4’ wide units we currently have in stock and available.
Our technicians test each bio safety cabinet, checking that the controls and blower motor work properly. Unless otherwise specified all bio safety cabinets come with new HEPA filters installed by our technicians at our facility prior to shipment. Our testing procedure includes all the elements of a bio safety cabinet certification in order to insure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.
Baker SterilGARD III e3 SG404
Although we still sell plenty of Baker SG403 biosafety cabinets and have a lot of great things to say about that model, we’ve also become big fans of the updates and changes Baker made in introducing the SG404. Improvements in operating efficiency mean that this BSC can operate for up to 70% lower cost than comparable previous models, while the fold up front panel makes changing HEPA filters and otheroutine maintenance a snap. These features come with a price however – the Baker SG604 is one of the more expensive biosafety cabinets currently on the market. Thermo Scientific 1385
The Thermo 1300 series biosafety cabinets are a marked improvement on some of the previous Thermo models that included too many bells and whistles. The Thermo 1385 is a 4’ wide, Class II Type A2 unit with energy efficiency advancements, including independent supply and exhaust blowers that automate balancing of downflow and inflow/exhaust velocities. Nuaire NU-425-400
The Nuaire NU-425-400 is an older model but one that is still in demand by many of our customers and for good reason: these are simple to operate workhorses that can get the job done without costing a fortune. On top of that, their timeless design won’t look out of place with any other equipment in your lab, whether it’s a 25 year old incubator or a fresh-out-of-the-box UPLC system. Baker SterilGARD III Advance SG403TX
And if you’re looking for a total exhaust biosafety cabinet, Class II Type B2, American Instrument Exchange has got you covered there, too. Widely used in toxicology laboratories and other environments in which chemical effluent is present and clean air essential, the Baker SG403TX requires connection to an exhaust in order to vent externally.
