The analog minihelic gauge allows users to monitor the pressure drop over the supply HEPA filter. Nothing fancy, nothing unnecessary – no gratuitous LED displays, no gel-insert control panels to wear out, no superfluous bells or whistles.
There is a learning curve when changing the filters on these models so we suggest hiring an experienced technician to handle this work. Many of these units feature a HEPEX bag as part of the Zero Air Leak airflow system, which can present challenges to users unfamiliar with this design.
